Sexual Harassment

The University of Colorado is committed to maintaining a positive learning, working and living environment. In pursuit of these goals, the University will not tolerate acts of sexual harassment or related retaliation against or by any employee or student. Individuals who violate this Policy will be disciplined or subjected to corrective action, up to and including termination or expulsion.

  • If a someone informs you of harassment, to that student or another, you must report the incident to the UC Denver harassment officer.
  • Tell the harassed party of the resources available to her.
  • Don't try to mediate the situation, let the harassment officer handle it.

Note: It is also a violation of this Policy for anyone acting knowingly and recklessly either to make a false complaint of sexual harassment or to provide false information regarding a complaint.
