Faculty Governance

UCDALI for Non-tenure track faculty

You have a voice in campus governance. The University of Colorado Denver Association of Lecturers and Instructors (UCDALI) represents the interests of non-tenure track faculty. If you are full-time or part-time non-tenure track faculty, you are automatically a UCDALI member.

When you attend UCDALI meetings you learn about and vote upon UC Denver issues in teaching, working conditions, and governance. UCDALI meets at least once each fall and spring semester. To find the next meeting, and to learn more about UCDALI, email Allison Bashe at Allison.Bashe@ucdenver.edu.

UC Denver Faculty Assembly: Our house of representatives

If you are a full-time faculty member you can also participate in the Downtown Campus Faculty Assembly. The Assembly is the official representative group for campus faculty. Assembly members represent the voice of faculty on academic policy and planning, faculty personnel issues, diversity, and budget priorities. You can participate by attending meetings, talking to your Assembly representative, or running for the Assembly yourself!

Check the Faculty Assembly site for current faculty news and issues, and to find the next meeting.

Know your rights. Even if you do not participate in the Faculty Assembly, you should know your rights. Review the Faculty Constitution and Bylaws to learn about your rights.
