Email accounts
In student's eyes, a ucdenver.edu email address legitimizes you as a member of the university community. You must use a ucdenver.edu email account. All faculty are assigned an account upon hire; contact your Administrative Assistant to find out how to activate it.
Computer labs
Our lab computers have Microsoft Office, Adobe, Visio and other general purpose software installed on them. And if you have course specific software, that may be loaded into lab computers, that's decided on a case-by-case basis. At the beginning of the semester, give your students the lab schedules for the three campus computer labs managed by IT Services.
Tip: If you need some special software installed in a lab for your class, see if your college or department has its own lab, because the general-purpose labs won't install it. For example, the colleges of Business and Architecture and Planning both have their own labs.
