Entering the matrix
Would you like to reduce student complaints about their grades? Reduce your grading time? Would you like to give students meaningful feedback about their projects? Perhaps its time for you to enter the matrix...the Rubric matrix, that is.
A rubric is a scoring guide that lists the Criteria (down the left) for student products or performances and a Rating Scale (across the top) for rating quality. Indicators (under the rating scale) describe each level of performance.
