Scores Teach, Thousands Learn
If you want to show media during your live class, you'd use a Smart Classroom. If you want to teach online, you'd contact CU Online.
Many of our faculty teach their courses wholly or partially online. They (and their students!) prefer the flexibility, convenience, and interactivity of online instruction. Over 140 Downtown Campus faculty teach over 3000 students online, with 10 degree programs that can be completed entirely through the web.
Hybrids Fuel Online Instruction
Taking supplements. You may request an online course shell to use as a supplement to your regular class, to simply store your instructional materials or to administer a quiz. It's a great way for you to experiment with online instruction before you construct a hybrid or totally online course.
If you decide to take your instruction online, you will be given a free eCollege or Blackboard online course. You may develop a completely online course or a "hybrid" that blends live and online teaching. To facilitate your development efforts you can attend one of CU Online's course development workshops or consult with their course development specialists.
